Your Reaction Keeps You Enslaved
Jun 11, 2023I'm going to show you the power of reaction and how reaction keeps you, trapped in suffering, poverty, misfortune, and scarcity.
Reaction is your biggest alert to your state of consciousness.
Reaction always has an undertone of strong emotion, and emotion is what supercharges our thoughts making realities persist stronger.
Repeated Thought + Repeated Strong Emotion = Manifestation Unfortunately, the masses cannot control their reactions, and as a result, their reality will always be out of their control.
The power of reaction Typically as human beings, when we react to something we are responding with a particular action, thought, and emotion.
To be in a state of response, for the average person, means to be caught off guard, unexpecting, or even shocked.
For example, you get a parking fine while already in a state of poverty and suffering.
You react to the situation by being frustrated and irritated because this couldn't have come at a worse time.
When reacting to a situation, it is the situation that is superior because it has precedence, you are reacting to it.
While this may seem minor, by reacting to it your mind is no longer grounded as the authority of your reality which is what it must be.
You have unconsciously been trained to make the world your authority figure, hence you respond to it without realizing that it only responds to you first.
The world reacting to your mind "The universe is entirely mental", this is the first hermetic universal law.
It is our mind that is the origin of reality, it precedes all that you experience and it is the true authority.
Due to ignorance of the human experience, you misplace your respect for the true authority (your mind) and end up placing it on the world.
The world is only and always first responding to your mind.
Now if your mind is untrained, your world will be chaotic and your reaction to that chaotic world in a reactive state of chaos will only perpetuate the cycle.
Your reaction will be your biggest and most apparent alert to the state of consciousness that you are in. By the state of consciousness, it can be seen as the state of mind you are in.
Take the below example of two people in the same financial predicament, both seeking to attain a reality of financial freedom, the only difference between them is the state of mind.
Person 1 reaction
Person 1 gets a parking fine of $70.
Person 1 reacts with the line of thinking of;
- "Why always me",
- "This couldn't have come at a worse time"
- "How am I gonna pay this I've already got things I need to pay for" •
- "I can't afford this"
They feel frustrated, fed up, angered, and hopeless.
This reaction implies that they are not in the state of financial freedom or this line of thinking and feeling would not follow.
Person 2 reaction
Person 2 gets a parking fine of $70.
Person 2 reacts with the line of thinking of;
- "Ahh, no biggie",
- "That's fine I can pay that"
- "I remember when this stuff used to stress me out"
- "Is that it?"
They feel light, ease, and neutral, and find it humorous.
This reaction implies that they are in a state of financial freedom.
You see the difference in the reactions of the above.
Both of those individuals are at the same financial level, the only difference is their reaction which shows their state of consciousness and that is what makes all the difference in their experience.
The world will react to each of their states, and produce a mirror of their reaction.
Detachment from the world
There is a gnostic saying: "I am in this world but I am not of it."
It is the recognition that we are confined and limited within this physical plane BUT, our level of consciousness differentiates our reactions to the world.
Reality is created from the mind, but it lags so what is solidified in your mind will always come later than expected.
See it like this, if you ordered a parcel from Amazon, you'd know that it is coming.
Your ability to persist in knowing what you have created is coming is key.
It is your mind that makes you, of it, not in it.
As a result, you must learn to detach from reacting to the world.
How to stop reacting to the world
When you stop reacting to the world, it begins to react to you and that is the beginning of power over reality. There are only 2 ways to stop reacting to the world:
- Ground your mind as an authority, this is a full conviction, not a half-hearted awareness which can be attained through adequate study.
- Practice self-control, and mentally reiterate the state that you want to be in. Neither of the ways above are shortcuts, looking for shortcuts will always mislead you. Once you begin to react from your consciousness and not to the world that is the moment reality will bend to your will.
